Camp dues
Camp dues are expected to be $600/person. There will be a $300 deposit due by April 1st to secure your spot in the camp with the rest by July.
Be in the know
We organize monthly camp meetings so that all members are up to date on every detail and are part of the planning process.

Camp infrastructure
The living space in the camp is covered with shade structures to cover your tents, and the common area to cover the tables, decorations and more, for our own use and for our gift to the playa.
2 hot meals a day
We provide breakfast and dinner with vegan options. We also have a fully stocked pantry with snacks for you to nibble around for when you have the craving during the day or have the midnight munchies.
Water
The camp provides drinking water and Gatorade for the entire week, but bring enough water for the drive and for maybe the first day until the tank arrives, but you won't haul water for the week. We also have stations for cleaning your utensils and washing your hands.
Alcohol
Our camp has a bar, and we'll all want to drink at it whenever we want. You're welcome to bring your own extras.
Electricity
We can run power to your tent. Bring a power strip for lights, air mattress pumps, fans, and charging your phone (not that it'll work out there). We also have a separate common outlet for everyone in the camp to charge their eBikes.
It can NOT run actual air conditioners. Ask us about swamp coolers.
WiFi
Since last year, we have added Starlink WiFi to the list of things we offer. It's good enough to check your messages.
Camp shower
Available to every member, but are limited. We understand it's dusty out there but we can't provide water for the shower every day!
Grey water removal
Leave No Trace includes waste water: brushing teeth, showering, cooking. The camp has a large receptacle for all of it, and it gets pumped during the week.
Our tea ceremony & connection gift
The most fun part of camp: we get to BE Burning Man. Do it well and someone back in the default world will say they found this one awesome camp full of super nice people. If that doesn't excite you, this probably isn't your camp :)

People you'll find at the next burn, and plenty of days in between.
Not covered by dues. Feel free to reach out and we'll help you plan for all of it.
Burning Man tickets
We don't provide the tickets to the Burning Man. If you are bringing in a vehicle, you should get a vehicle pass as well. The camp will have some tickets available but we will all work as a team to get tickets for anyone the allocation in the stewards sale doesn't support.

Your shelter
Space is limited. We'll help people bunk together and share, but your tent or shiftpod is on you.
Personal gear
Camelbak, utensils, goggles, dust masks, lights, sunscreen and the like. We'll share packing lists so you know what you need.
Your bike
You WILL need one! And we suggest an eBike instead of a regular one. Driving isn't allowed and the city is too big to walk. If there's enough interest, we may set up another bulk order with playa bike repair (TBD).
Transportation
We'll run a logistics chat to coordinate, and we may rent passenger vans so fewer people drive. It isn't part of base dues. Carpooling and the Burner Bus are options too.
Moving your personal items
The camp may be able to carry some shelters or bikes, but there's NO GUARANTEE. Getting everything of yours TO AND FROM the playa is on you.
Hauling camp trash off the playa
Everyone helps take all waste off the playa.
Someone doing your teardown
Everyone supports some part of teardown. If you have to leave early, work with the leads to find where you can help.
Power for AC or other big cooling
If you bring an air conditioner, you'll need to supply the power for it too.
Water & food to and from the playa
Bring a 7-gallon container for yourself to get to camp and last until the tank arrives.
Someone pulling your weight
Camp only works if everyone pitches in.
Many hands build it. All hands take it down.
Camp build
We don't expect everyone to be part of the camp build. We'd appreciate it if you can afford to come a bit early and help us build the camp. If it's not possible, don't sweat it!
Camp strike
We expect everyone to be part of the teardown. This is the hardest part of the entire week, as everything needs to be torn down in a couple of days. If you have to leave early, work with the leads to find where you can help.

Every burner was a first-timer once. Just bring your questions, we have your back. It's literally our name.
What do I actually need to bring?
Shelter, a bike, goggles, dust masks, a headlamp, sunscreen, layers for cold nights, and a water container. We'll share a full packing list well before the burn.
How hot (and cold) does it get?
Days can pass 100°F and nights can drop into the 40s. Dust storms roll in with little warning and the rain brings the mud Man alive. Pack for all of it.
Is there money out there?
Burning Man runs on gifting system. Apart from ice and coffee at Center Camp (which is not for you to worry about), you won't need cash, so don't bring things to sell or trade!
What does "leave no trace" mean?
Everything we bring in, we take back out, down to the last sequin. Nothing goes on the ground, including grey water.
Where do I go to the bathroom?
We are part of a hub (3 camps form a hub) which shares two Porta-potties amongst ourselves. Apart from this private one, there are public Porta-potties placed throughout the city and serviced during the week.
Will my phone work?
Barely, if at all. Download maps and the event guide before you go, and plan meetup spots with friends. We do have a camp WiFi if you want to reach out to the outside world, but don't plan on streaming movies.
What if I get overwhelmed?
It happens to everyone. Camp is your home base: come back, drink water, eat something, and find one of us. Rangers and medical are around the city too.

Can I help run the tea ceremony or Dosa Days?
Everyone gets to pick the shifts they are interested in on multiple days. This will happen when we plan a couple of months before the burn. Feel free to pick up the shift you're comfortable with. If you don't get the shift you like, you can always exchange it with other people in the camp.
Can I bring something of my own to share?
Yes! A workshop, a game, a performance, a strange little art piece. Bring it up at a camp meeting and we'll find it a time and a corner.
